VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.
Brent J.Curtis, 55, was arrested for disorderly conduct/public intoxication after being found on the sidewalk on S. Dixie Drive. He was taken to the county jail.
Nicole L. Ward, 23, was issued a summons for telecommunications harassment after sending emails to a former boyfriend despite warnings to cease.
Caleb N. White, 27, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for failure to comply on a probation violation after being detained by a Huber Heights police officer. He posted bond and was released.
A complainant reported that he accidentally left his cell phone at the BP station on E. National Road. When he returned it was missing. The investigation continues.
Unknown persons entered the abandoned Friendly’s Restaurant and stole copper pipe and electrical wire. Extensive damage was done to the building. The investigation continues.
A complainant on Poplar Creek Road reported that a vehicle was stolen overnight. The vehicle was later located near Monroe. The investigation continues.
Korey M. Day, 18, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana after being dispatched on the report of a car chase. He was released.
A complainant on Foley Dr. reported her ex-boyfriend violated a protection order. The investigation continues.
A complainant on Chelsea Ave. reported that an unknown suspect removed a decorative kettle from her front patio. The investigation continues.
A complainant reported that a fellow employee at a plant on Capstone Way assaulted her. The investigation continues.
A complainant on Bright Ave. reported unknown individuals damaged a privacy fence. The investigation continues.
