Vandalia Police Reports March 29-31

VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.

March 29

A business reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill from a regular customer. He was confronted when he returned. The investigation continues.

March 30

Jason K. Smith, 39, was arrested for public indecency after being observed urinating in the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel. He was taken to the county jail.

Craig Keller, 46, was issued a summons for public intoxication after being found near Fricker’s. He was released to a sober relative.

Jacob E. Graham, 37, and Cody P. Wiggans, 27, were issued a summons for disorderly conduct after a fight on Imperial Court. Both were released at the scene.

Over 12 pounds of prescription drugs were removed from the lock box in the police lobby drop box and marked for destruction.

March 31

A complainant on Randler Ave. reported that an unknown person used his personal information to cash in points on a credit card to receive funds. The investigation continues.

A complainant reported that his GPS unit was stolen and a fellow employee was suspected. The unit was found in a pawn shop in Huber Heights. The investigation continues.

While investigating an assault, police found Tasha L. Rosenkranz to have a warrant out of Cuyahoga County for probation violation on drug charges. She was taken to the county jail.

A complainant on S. Dixie reported that her dog was attacked by a neighbor’s dog. No further action required.
