BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Accident reports

April 4 – N. Dixie Drive

Unit #1 was traveling south on N. Dixie Drive in the right lane and when at 11509 N. Dixie Drive, Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right side of the roadway striking a concrete block flower bed.

April 4 – Miller Lane

Unit#1 pulled into parking lot located at 6955 Miller Lane and attempted to park in a marked parking lane and in so doing failed to brake the vehicle, striking two parked vehicles Unit#2 and Unit#3 that were properly parked in a marked parking space unoccupied. Unit#1 then left the scene without reporting the incident.

April 6 – York Commons Blvd.

Unit #1 and Unit #2 were both parked in row 8 of the Walmart parking lot. Unit #1 backed out of the parking space and struck Unit #2 the was parked unoccupied and left the scene without attempting to locate the owner.

April 7 – Miller Lane

Unit #1 was traveling southbound on Miller Lane in the southbound lane and when at 6675, failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2, which was traveling southbound on Miller Lane in the southbound lane and was stopped in traffic.

April 8 – Frederick Pike

Unit #1 was traveling south on Frederick Pike in the right lane and when at 6106 Frederick Pike, Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle and traveled east off of the roadway, and traveled up a steep hill, and then traveled west back onto the roadway, striking Unit #2 on it’s passenger side, which was traveling north on Frederick Pike in the right lane.

April 9 – York Commons Blvd. @ Towncenter

Unit #1 was traveling westbound on York Commons Boulevard in the westbound lane, and as unit #1 approached the intersection with Towncenter Drive, unit #1 failed to obey the stop sign, and in so doing, collided with unit #2 which was traveling southbound through the intersection on Towncenter Drive.
