Demmitt students are Girls on the Run


Girls in grades 3-5 from Demmitt Elementary are building new relationships, setting goals and developing self-confidence as part of the Girls on the Run program. The program is currently in its third week of the spring session. The group will celebration the end of the program with a 5k scheduled at Welcome Stadium May 15. The Demmitt group members will be joined by girls from all around the area who participated in GOTR groups. At Demmitt, Amber Helton, Natalie Tinney, Denise Treadway, Amber Pelfrey and Katie Dwenger are working with the GOTR group. To get more information on the program, go to gotrdayton.org.
