Vandalia Police Reports Dec. 24-29

VANDALIA — The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

December 24

Paul A. Peterson, 46, was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the county jail.

A complainant reported that she dropped a large sum of cash at Kroger when paying for items. It was not there when she returned. The investigation continues.

December 25

Robert C. Alessandro, 19, was arrested on a felony warrant for burglary out of Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. he was taken to the county jail. He was also charged with obstructing official business for giving false identification.

Desmond C. Graham, 26, was arrested for failure to comply with an OVI case out of Vandalia Municipal Court. He was taken to the county jail and also trespassed from Waffle House.

Police were send to an address on Winding Hollow Trail on the report of an altercation between several individuals. The investigation continues.

December 26

A vehicle parked on Taylorsview Drive was towed due to the license plates not matching the vehicle. Neither the car or plates were listed as stolen.

December 27

Michael A. Bowers, 42, was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments after he was found inside his vehicle at Stubbies Bar. He was issued a summons and released.

December 28

Charles Carr Jr., 26, was arrested for criminal damaging after an incident on E. Alkaline Springs Road. He was issued a summons.

Markese J. McKinney, 27, was cited for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop for not having two working brake lights. Per a BMV confiscation order, the license plates were removed from the vehicle and it was towed.

Unknown suspects broke into a business on Poe Avenue and stole an air compressor and several starters. The investigation continues.

December 29

A resident on W. Alkaline Springs reported that her tires were deflated by a known suspect. The investigation continues.

A resident on Donora Drive reported that the mother of his child stole gift cards from him with an approximate value of $450. The investigation continues.
