VANDALIA – The Vandalia Lions Club will welcome Vandalia Mayor Arlene Setzer as guest speaker at a dinner event on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 at at Cassel Hills Golf Club.

The event will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. with a full dinner, coffee, lemonade, ice tea and desert. The Mayor’s presentation will start about 7:15 p.m.

Mayor Seltzer will be speaking about the benefits of living in the Vandalia area as well as her goals and hopes for our community in the future. The event will end with some time left for a question and answers session ending by 8 p.m.

If you are interested in attending the Lions Club dinner event, the cost is $10. The deadline for reservations will be January 10, 2016.

There will be a limited number of free reservations available for those that may be interested in joining the Vandalia Lions Club. We would ask that you stay for a short typical Vandalia Lions Business meeting after the Mayor’s dinner event. There will be no aggressive solicitation what’s so ever for membership; we instead wanted you to see what a Vandalia Lions Business meeting is like.

Please contact Gary Schomburg at the phone number or email listed above, or any of the Vandalia Lions members for reservations or questions.
