VANDALIA — Morton sixth graders sponsored a Stocking Stuffer drive to benefit Montgomery County Children’s Services and FLOC (For the Love of Children).

Donations of small items that would fit into holiday stockings for kids under 12 years old were collected. The students donated items including: Matchbox cars, Play-Doh, Barbie dolls, crayons, coloring books and action figures.

Seventy-five stockings were filled in total, with 20 of them coming from a collaboration between a group of Morton sixth graders and Wright State University Middle Childhood Education students.

Morton Middle School once again has successfully continued the tradition of being a generous and compassionate student body.
