Vandalia police reports

VANDALIA – The following police reports were received by the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

October 21

Nicole S. Hunt, 26, was arrested a warrant out of Montgomery County Municipal Court West for failure to appear on a seat belt violation charge. Her passenger, Justin Wright, 23, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for failure to appear for arraignment on a criminal damaging charge. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

A resident on Dunnigan Drive reported that someone attempted to open numerous credit card accounts using his personal identification. There are no suspects.

October 22

Bradley A. Isaacs, 26, was arrested for OVI after an initial stop for speeding on S. Brown School Road. He was released to a friend and his vehicle towed.

Tyler J. Jutte, 24, was arrested on a warrant out of Darke County for failure to appear on a traffic case. He was transferred to a Darke County Deputy Sheriff.

October 23

After a request by Troy police, a stolen vehicle was located at the Knights Inn. The vehicle was towed.

October 24

A 17-year old juvenile was found intoxicated behind a business on N. Dixie Drive. He was charged with disorderly conduct and released to his parents.

A vehicle parked at Scene 75 was forcibly entered and a bag stolen. The investigation continues.

Deborah A. Clancy, 48, was arrested for OVI after officers investigated a suspicious vehicle running at Rite Aid. She was released to a sober friend.

License plates were confiscated from a vehicle parked at the Knights Inn after a random license plate check revealed a BMV confiscation order.

Officers were dispatched to a room at the Hawthorn Suites on the report of an unresponsive subject. He was revived with Narcan and transported to Huber Heights Medical Center. Drug abuse items were collected and logged into police property.

A complainant at a business on N. Dixie reported the attempted theft of a vehicle by peeling the steering column to access the ignition. The investigation continues.
