Vandalia police looking for impaired drivers


Nationwide traffic safety initiative runs through Oct. 31

VANDALIA — The Vandalia Division of Police is participating in a nationwide traffic safety initiative through October 31. Vandalia police officers will be on high alert for motorists driving impaired. Before leaving your home, talk among your friends and relatives on who will be the designated driver. The designated driver does NOT consume any alcohol during the night activities. The overall goal for the Vandalia Division of Police, Ohio Department of Public Safety and all nationwide law enforcement agencies is to save lives and reduce injuries.

So remember: “Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving”
