Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

October 29

N. Dixie Drive, no offense, purse found in parking lot of UDF.

Comfort Inn, theft of a motor vehicle, Dispatched to Comfort Inn on a theft of a pickup truck, attached open trailer, and two loaded pickup trucks.

Walmart, theft, Dispatched to Walmart on a report of theft. A juvenile suspect was charged with theft and released to her guardian.

Red Lion Inn & Suites, criminal damaging, Unknown subject broke out rear passenger window on driver side of a vehicle in attempt to commit a theft.

Burger King, theft, Male suspect quick-changed an employee at the cash register.

Honeycutt, aggravated menacing, Responded to an Aggravated Menacing compliant. After investigation, the suspect was issued a summons for the offense.

October 30

Spring Hill Suites, no offense, Employee found baggie of marijuana, unknown who had possession of it. It was logged into the property room for destruction.

Speedway, drug paraphernalia,

Male suspect charged with drug paraphernalia after his apparent opioid overdose in a vehicle parked at the side of the Speedway gas station.

October 31

Walmart, theft, Shoplifter at Walmart. The suspect brought Walmart bags into the store and placed unpurchased merchandise inside of them. She was issued summonses for theft and possession of criminal tools.

Willowridge, telecommunications harassment, Victim claimed known suspect harassed her on the telephone. Victim did not wish to prosecute.

Miller Lane, no offense, Dispatched to 6500 Miller Lane in reference to a domestic dispute. The parties were arguing over the male taking financial responsibility for his family. There was no violence or the threat of violence. The Domestic Violence laws were explained. Both parties were released to go their separate ways.

Liquor and Wine Warehouse, possession of marijuana, Investigation revealed that a suspect was yelling in the lot of Liquor and Wine Warehouse, and during investigation, he was found to be in possession of less than 100 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia used to smoke marijuana.

November 1

Speedway, theft, Victim lost wallet at Speedway. Wallet was later found in a trash can but the cash had been stolen. Wallet found at Speedway by customer and turned over to employee. Owner contacted to retrieve the wallet.

November 2

Drury Inn, theft, Victim reported cell phone stolen. He later called back and said he had found his phone in his luggage and it was not stolen.

Frickers, disorderly conduct, Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress at Frickers. Upon completion of the initial call, a second fight occurred in the parking lot, and one suspect was charged with disorderly conduct.

November 3

Tortuga Drive, theft, Victim left purse in unsecured car overnight (window rolled down). Items from the purse were stolen by unknown suspect(s).

Snapping Turtle, identity fraud,

Victim notified by Life Lock that someone had opened an account with Dish Network using his identity. Victim and Life Lock contacted Dish Network to halt any further activity on the account. Dish Network did not provide any leads.

November 4

America’s Best Value Inn, domestic violence, Victim reported being struck by live-in boyfriend. The suspect departed prior to the victim calling police.

Burger King, no offense listed, Vehicle damaged a sprinkler in the yard and left. Located vehicle, driver was unaware of the damage, exchanged info with business.

Coppersmith, aggravated menacing, Subject came into the police department to be served a trespass notice regarding a failed business partnership. The subject claimed the ex-partner threatened him. Complaint signed, case will be presented to the prosecutor for review.

April J. Moore, 24, disorderly conduct

Ladonna K. Reeder, 42, warrant for possession of heroin

Randy C. Jones, 41, domestic violence

Jennifer R. Bare, 36, warrant arrest for burglary

Isiah R. Duncan, 20, driving with no license
